This was an awesome interview. Will you be making it public at any point? Also, wondering if you cared if someone transcribed it so people from other countries can easily translate and read. Thanks for doing this and looking forward to the other interview being released.

Yes, absolutely. I will be publishing many cryptocurrency interviews like this one on YouTube, with a playlist. I will tweet it once it is up.

I just finished both parts and they were fantastic. I know this might seem strange but I’ve been awarding 1M XEC (eCash) a day for 100 days and would love to send you 1M XEC as thank you for your interviews. All you have to do is go to http://cashtab.com and create a wallet.

That is very kind of you. No payment is necessary, I was very happy to do the interview. If you want to do a tiny transaction for fun, though, I am happy to try, since I have actually never done one before :) ecash:qp0z0zdg92ud76tefexe30j0zd4jq952yuvc2ksfj8

It might not be your cup of tea but there is a third aspect of crypto that fascinates me and Amaury would be the best person to talk about it. That’s the cultural/social. He is the only person to have been involved in every major Bitcoin fork so he is the expert.

Yes, I suppose I probably am not the right person for those things. I think the reason I haven't been asking about that is simply because I think it's a given that _social_ change is possible, even without any new technology.

So I've been mostly focusing on the technological aspects because I fundamentally believe social change in banking is possible, the question is just whether a specific technology is important to that or not (some might be, some might not be, etc.)

That's not the social part I'm talking about. Crypto projects are like tribes. There's an incentive to remain in the same tribe, but then you get situations where people disagree oh the rules so you get forks, which is what Bitcoin Cash and eCash both are.

Yes, certainly. Again though, I just take it as a given that it either will or won't happen, and I'm not sure it's that relevant to the technology. In fact an inferior technology might "win" in such dynamics, etc. And so I'm a bad one to talk about that part, I think!

I like to believe that the best technology always wins given a long enough time frame ;)
