[2/*] This kind of thing infuriates me, because these are people who went through the trouble of signing up for our mailing list, and we send out an e-mail only once every few months. It used to work just fine a few years ago. Now, it all goes to spam for no obvious reason.

@andrewpprice sents out weekly newsletter and his mail never went to spam for me (Gmail account), maybe he got an idea? -
Needs to be at least once a month to "refresh" the it's not spam flag yeah

Perhaps sendinblue is a useful alternative here. Oh and try to get your eyes on a mail that is spam flagged by forwarding it to you. Check the headers what was causing it. Perhaps this will help
