I would be interested to know if any high-profile cryptocurrency advocates would like to do a public interview with me where we can talk about detailed questions. Here is an example of the kind of technical interviews I do:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpINOFQ32o0 …

If there really is any "there" there, I am confident it would come out in an in-depth technical interview. Again, I have a lot of practice interviewing high-level technical people, so I don't think it would be a waste of anyone's time. Here is another one:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7KXVox0-7lU …

That's because there are no benefits. I think you would enjoy this great podcast series dismantling everything on the subject. https://anchor.fm/when-the-music-stops/episodes/Zero-Sum-Games-w-Dr--Nicholas-Weaver-e16lg5a/ …

Well, obviously I agree with that superficially, but I would like to have a few in-depth defenses of the technology from people who care about it first, because maybe they have thought it through further than it seems. You never know.

Well, it costs me $20 to send a wire transfer, and I have to stay up until 2AM for my bank to call me to approve the wire, and the limit on each wire is very small, and competing products can do similar things for like a penny instantly.

ACH transfers are free, and even wire transfers are way cheaper than ETH gas fees

In our last interaction you expressed dislike for corporate censorship, do you get bothered by the idea that corporations could decide who you can send money to? If so then decentralised currencies would help there? I'm sure you've considered this but interested in your thoughts.

You are correct that I would love uncensorable payment systems. My concern is that I don't think cryptocurrency has much potential to meaningfully improve the current situation. So I'm interested in seeing if I am right or wrong about that.
