I ended up having to build out our nodes and deploy them as Colo deals. Added additional pain in setup and management, but so far it has been a better experience than expected, and even more reliable than other projects running in Linode.

I'd be interested to hear more about this... is that hard to do? I mean, obviously I know how to build machines, but, to deploy them then to datacenters? Do you just mail them, or... ?

Actually, I didn't think they had 10gbs, but I went and tried more exhaustively, and it turns out they do on some machines... I will check them out!

I'm curious about what made you arrive at this requirement?

Which part? The 10gbs or the ECC RAM?

Hetzner, but datacenters are in Europe https://docs.hetzner.com/robot/dedicated-server/general-information/root-server-hardware/#miscellaneous …

Last I checked Hetzner does not support these requirements. If you know of how to get a server with them that does, I'd love to know where it is on their website :) Specifically, all the machines I've seen in their listings all have 1gbs uplinks, not 10gbs.

http://velia.net , you need to ask support for 10GBe, but they will do it

https://www.webhostingtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=36 … I have personally good experiences IOFlood, WebNX, but there are a lot of regulars posting. Price will depend on if you need unmetered or not, general specs (i.e. just need the bandwidth as a dumb pipe, or compute/etc to feed it). But lots of options.
