not bad seeing as on this machine it takes about 40 mins to do a full compile. Pretty happy with 3 mins for a full parse.

memory in the screenshot is source + parsed data, so it should be more than that...
source is 274MB, so parsing 1.4MB/sec (i7 3.5GHz 6 core)

No, no AVX. Most of the time is spent creating and filling in all of the data structures, so the optimisations so far have been removal of allocs, caching and improving hashmap usage etc.
it's more like writing a linker, cross referencing stuff and building up tables etc. A fully multi-threaded linker that updates on the fly.
