Really looking forward to this. For over a year I've been following @Ayjchan's relentless, impeccably analytical search for answers regarding the origin of COVID-19. If you want a rigorous sorting of fact from fiction, I have no doubt this will be the definitive account.https://twitter.com/Ayjchan/status/1429458339231059969 …

I absolutely don't understand the relevance of it's origin. Nothing would change if it was gain a function. Governments developing scary weapons? Wait until you find out everyone has nukes. People are just looking for the positive feeling of being able to blame someone.

So, in your world, nobody needed to know that we developed nuclear weapons? Like, it would have been the same if everyone thought Hiroshima was a natural disaster?

We already knew everything though. Was it news to you that governments did gain a function? The thing i complain about is that people are clinging onto this as a means to feel some control in a situation they are powerless in. It's not about knowing. It's about feeling control

People don't look for what is correct. Everyone just wants the lab leak to be true.

That is both absurd and insulting. Of course some people only want it to be true. Other people want to actually know what happened.
