[Raises hand] When my ancestors came to this country, that plane is exactly what the boat would have looked like. https://twitter.com/CortesSteve/status/1427839604376444929 …pic.twitter.com/LaDZZYMZCi

All immigrants back then were Christians and Europeans. You can't build a country out of different religions and cultures. Look at Lebanon. Look at France. Look at Germany. Look at England.

Yes you can, and even though most of the immigrants to the states back then weree christians, you're forgetting all the tensions between different sects of Christianity.

"Yes you can". Of course you can, but it will be hell. In my country, people are being beheaded because of multicultural "tensions". Homogeneous societies are peaceful. Heterogeneous societies aren't. You may not like it, but it is what it is.

But we are already heterogeneous here. What is true of Europe is not true of the United States. If we cannot find a way to exist as a country of immigrants from disparate lands, then we will not exist at all.

Exactly, and European countries are becoming more and more heterogeneous than before, its the natural progression of civilization for more interaction and intermingling between different groups of people

I agree on the first part of the sentence. But what about the process ? Is there no limit ? In that case, we need a world government asap. Meanwhile societies need some kind of coherence or they collapse. Antagonist cultures produce a lot of harm when they meet.
