If we assume that there remains a risk that vaccinated people can still infect others it's a dumb idea to put vaccinated and negative-tested people in the same room yet it happens all over the place right now.

That seemed very odd to me as well! This whole thing was weird. The headline should have just been, "Exactly as much COVID-19 happened as any reasonable person would have expected given our nonsensical screening procedures."

This was my reaction as well. A better story might have been framed as “know your risks”, and then gone on to discuss summer activities like concerts, both indoor and outdoor.
