Results for gnome-terminal don't look very good though...

URxvt on top of Debian 10/Xorg/xfwm. The "skipScroll" flag (enabled by default) is what makes it relatively fast. Without it, it slows down to ~0.0015gb/s.pic.twitter.com/bFBpGPvTcw

Skipping drawing is pretty critical. For high-bandwidth terminals, you don't want to slow down ingress just because you, say, waiting for vblank or something.
