As long as the latency on the service is negative, I think it will be a strong competitor to Google Stadia.

I'm not 100% sure they're going to go the "streaming games" route (with the exception of if its only FMV games) weirdly enough.

or maybe I'm too optimistic and they'll just do exactly that and slap it onto their existing infrastructure which was absolutely 100% designed without latency in mind.

Well if it is designed to be the same as their existing service, all they need is the box art from the games. I mean, mostly what I do on Netflix is scroll around looking for something to watch, and then give up. So as long as they can display the box art, I'm all set.
