[1/4] There's three ways people do this.
Well it's more about integrating with their build. If they build different versions for different platforms, you want that to work. And if they don't, you want that to work, too. So you usually want a version per arch, and then you can provide example code for each build.

Like you can provide one example .h for "this is how you would include all the versions in one exe with different names" or whatnot, and then another that is "this is how you would include only the one for the target arch", etc.

It's not pretty, but, multi-arch build just isn't pretty yet because of the language :(
