@cmuratori honest question. hoping you can share some wisdom with regards to refterm and armchair experts moving the goal post. What keeps you going wrt sharing things knowledge/providing evidence of how a specific claim is blatantly wrong? These experts always move the goalpost.

So I think it's worth doing, because lots of people do realize just how wrong these "gurus" are. The fact that they will keep on spouting their blatantly ignorant "wisdom" doesn't change the fact that lots of people do start to see the ignorance for what it really is.

Glad someone is getting through. All attempts I’ve made have felt like failures. I’ve personally thrown in the towel. Keep fighting the good fight and don’t burn out.

How is a nobody like myself supposed to combat these gurus? There’s a rampant appeal to authority. My own struggles: asking someone why they choose to use Unity. They never admit that their reasons are uninformed (ie: it’s free and it was the first thing that came@up in Google).

Just like Microsoft will never honestly admit that the terminal’s priorities are not speed but mean time to market of something that finally supports the ability to copy and paste text. Guess I have to leave these types of battles to devs like you. Keep fighting the good fight.
