As a sidenote: it is insane that I am now referred to as "performance focused." If you'd told someone at RAD to "go talk to the performance guy", they would literally go to every other office _but_ mine. I was easily the least performance-focused person there!

I'm an architecture person. I work on things like stable system design, API design, code simplification, algorithm design. No coworker I know _ever_ thought "I gotta talk to Casey" if they were stumped on an optimization problem!

Honestly, I'm not your coworker (sadly), but I had these thoughts

I would have had to refer you to Miles, Fabian, Jeff, Sartain, or Abrash! They all were _very_ good optimizers. I didn't know anything.

“I don’t know anything” is a stretch. :) You’re always great to run things by cause you’re a super bright person who has no problem saying I don’t understand + asks solid questions. Also one of my fave people to work with ever, and anyone that says otherwise can go pound sand!

Plus, when presented with solid evidence, you change your mind. Or (like in this big dumb thread) when presented with stupid arguments and personal attacks you hold your ground. Lol.

Speaking of evidence, it sucks that cell phones were not a thing when we clearly broke the world record for Cyberball. I am still upset we do not have a picture of the... 216-0 (?) victory.
