But hey, maybe Paul is playing the long game. Maybe he actually wants the web to be good, and he figures posting condescending replies to coders will piss perf folks off enough that they'll come ship a new infrastructure that actually works out of spite. If so, well played.

As for Puffin, I also am not suggesting that it is somehow a good thing or that it's better than Mighty. I am just pointing out that they used the same pitch you did, and claimed the same things you claim, about desktop. It's just that nobody cared.

What is the "points" in that sentence? You only said one thing, which is that Puffin was "focused on mobile" and you were "focused on desktop". That's also not a technological difference - it's a marketing difference.
