I 100% agree with this, although it's worth noting that, for me as an interviewee, it would mean breaking the non-disclosure parts of my previous employment agreements. Which you kind of have to do anyway for the "tell me about a time" type questions.

Too bad I have a horrible memory. I can't even remember how I solved some entirely physical problems, much less something abstract like programming. I have to start writing the code to for some things to come back to me.

For example: I figured out (entirely on my own) a stretch for making my knee tendinitis go away, but I broke my arm and haven't been able to do it in 3 months. I happened to think about it the other day, and it It took me 10 minutes to remember how I did it.
