Once again Tom, that doesn't make any sense. The reason you care if all banks fail at once is because they have global systemic effects. So long as each medical facility has 3 months of supplies, you don't care if all of them need to start using those supplies at once!

That makes sense, the only problem is, it would be touted as "anti-freedom" and "infringing on the free market" by Republicans and even if it passed legislature would have likely been one of the things removed by someone like Trump to "save money and reduce the federal deficit"

It was only a matter of time before the continued insistence on small government and harping on the national debt as the most important issue of our time caused a plight like our current one.
