The right thing for @StackOverflow to do would be to stop labeling things "answers". They're more like "guesses", and calling something an "accepted answer" is misleading because all it actually means is that somebody who by definition isn't an expert thinks it's correct.

I feel like any half-intelligent developer using StackOverflow is more than capable of understanding that the content is crowd-sourced and “accepted answer” means it solved the OP’s problem. I don’t see how bad developers copy/pasting code is StackOverflow’s problem to solve.

And just to clarify, nobody is saying like, the government should come require this or something. I'm just saying it would be nice if StackExchange experimented with some ways to increase the likelihood that programmers using their site would think harder about how they use it.
