The current situation with @Apple's code signing is completely absurd. I am on step ~30 of the process, and it is requiring me to agree to have Apple submit my personal information to Dun and Bradstreet. Strongly considering officially cancelling Mac versions of our stuff.

unfortunately consumers on the iOS side have voted with their wallets and are happy with a 'wallet garden' approach. The strict vetting process is also good for a non-pro consumer.

Yeah, but why the f*ck should iOS users dictate how the macOS side should look like :/ They're two entirely different platforms, and (compared to MS at least) it seemed like Apple "got it" so far, at least on the hardware side. Outside US, there are no "non-pro" consumers on Mac.
