Microsoft is no longer able to even list their own applications in their own control panel without absurd, ridiculous bugs. Windows is just waiting to die at this point.pic.twitter.com/arI3krgtii

My windows install couldn’t install the new security patch. You know, the one that fixed the EC validation for certs. The only way I could fix it was installing windows on top of itself again.

I happen to have a Pentium4 machine running Windows XP right here, and I can assure you that Windows 10 is far, far, FAR worse, not to mention much slower _even though XP is running on a Pentium 4_ and Windows 10 is running on a i7-7700k. I don't think people remember well...

Meanwhile, @reactos is just waiting to be born... More funding could help having a compatible alternative to Windows as quick as possible.

If Apple gets something as good as Proton, or if Valve and Epic and Google keep throwing their weight into Linux gaming, we might see a shift. Of course I’ve felt like that for years, there’s a certain Newtonian nature keeping things in motion... in motion

Epic? I don't see them doing anything for Linux. In fact, they recently announced that rocket league is no longer supported on Linux.
