Proposal for a new metric: The Moon Unit, or "moo", which is equal to 2.71321035034 seconds, the maximum ping time to the moon. It's a measure for web technologies, like Google Drive, which regularly takes around 4.5moo to list the first 50 files in a directory.

it's a little worse than that because loading drive makes 87 requests, each of which will take 1moo to resond
-
Why does drive need to make 87 requests serially

If this a joke, you have my nose-sniff-laugh, but if this is not, I'd be much more comfortable with the symbol mu.
-
I would have used mu but I was afraid people might get confused with MU, which is already a unit of radiation (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monitor_unit …)

[Delusional optimism] Maybe they’re doing this intentionally to prep us for Earth-Moon communication? [Reality] The Golang backend finished in 0.001 seconds but CSS decided it needed to recalculate the layout 3,720 more times.
