Every single result feels like a sponsored ad. Or is every single result *actually* just an ad now?

Yeah, I was about to say "maybe it feels like a sponsored ad because it IS a sponsored ad"... but actually, it's probably not. What probably happened is they wanted to make it less clear which are ads and which are not, so they made them all look like ads!

Use
@DuckDuckGo instead ;) -
Amusingly, that's exactly what I went and did. I think this might be it for me and Google Search. I really just honestly can't even use it - it's really hard for me to read, for whatever reason. Well, not "for whatever reason". For the specific reason that the typography sucks!

The actual results are better...! Just a few days ago I was very often getting results that completely ignored my search terms like this (Missing: 7 or the 9 words you searched for), but I just tried this again, and it's actually relevant now.pic.twitter.com/WfmCalMcaG

Had to check, and no, there's no option to disable ugly search listings.

WOULD YOU LIKE UGLY SEARCH LISTINGS [YES/YES]?

Yeah I noticed that yesterday, not sure if it's the favicon or what but the search results look... odd

Not sure about readability, but latelly(last 9 months or so), the Google searches were less specific than usual. When googling specific error messages it tends to produce generic errors for the language and not include the specific wording mentioned.

Personally for me Google Search died long ago when they started giving me completely irrelevant results unless I search for something very popular. Also the amount of censorship in it is ridiculous.
