Art is when you tell the world what you want it to hear. Commerce is when you tell the world what you think it wants to hear.
Again, perhaps more correctly you would say, "Art is when you _are trying_ to tell the world want you want it to hear." In some senses though, I might want a definition of art that excludes some things otherwise included, such as "The Room" by Tommy Wiseau.

"The Room" is clearly (accidental?) art in some way, as you would infer from the title "The Disaster Artist", and so on. But I don't think accidental art is art, really. At least I don't think it's interesting to classify it as such?

I think it is not hugely worthwhile to classify / define "art".
