[1/3] It does seem increasingly weird that the tech press never writes about @handmade_hero, despite the high number of people who watch it and the surprisingly large number of people who have gotten jobs from it...

Things to try: 1. Sitting in an outrageously expensive chair. 2. Wearing a top three sizes too small. 3. Saying the N word.
-
Not keen on the bottom 2 but I could do #1 much better I suppose - my chair cost like ~$100 on Amazon. That's definitely not pro-streamer quality!

I mentioned Handmade Hero and you in an article I wrote about my game :) Not sure it counts in this context..https://news.xbox.com/en-us/2018/10/01/creating-deadliners-xbox-one/ …

Personally, I found
@handmade_hero through@tigsource. https://www.tigsource.com/2014/12/17/handmade-hero/ … The updates on this website had already become rare at the time this article was published...Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

I found you through that article originally. I owe a lot to it and so much more to you. That just now made me realize that while I might prefer HMH to stay as this quiet club, somewhere out there, someone like me 5 years ago, desperately needs to know of this. Shame on

I've been watching since Winter 2014 thanks to O'Reilly picking up on it in their programming newsletter.

Sucks that you don't get more coverage. On the other hand, the fact that you've managed to grow so much in spite of this speaks volumes about the quality of what you do. Keep up the good work!

It's funny how the actual true CS content is seldom featured in any *tech* press. Everything is all about the flavor of the week buzzword, and principles are often neglegted. Keep vec2(0,1) the good work. I truly appreciate what you do.

are you serious? I just assumed you were turning down media requests left and right.
-
Never had a media inquiry other than those two, and the KillScreen one wasn't really about Handmade Hero, it was about the broader idea of low-level programming.
