As of the most recent version (0.1.9.1), RemedyBG has crossed the threshold for me into "best everyday Windows debugger". If you're as desperate as I was to get off Visual Studio/WinDBG, it may be well worth your time (and $9.95) to check it out:https://remedybg.itch.io/remedybg

Will it be used on HH? (I’m ~8 episodes behind, sorry if you are)

We will definitely try it out live for people to see, yes. Whether/when we will switch to it permanently I can't say, it will depend on how it does on our codebase! But I will definitely be giving a demo of it soon.

I can't wait for the day when I can stop opening Visual Studio every time I need to debug something and instead use something like RemedyBG. I will definitely give it a try.

That day is seeming tantalizing close, thanks to @x13pixels. He's been really putting in the effort getting RemedyBG usable. For the past few months,
@AllenWebster4th and Nick Slivca have also been working on a new debugger at@radgametools, too. - Show replies

Any concrete examples of bad human factors that it solves?
