I love the feel of the @Razer BlackWidow Tournament Edition Stealth, but they break after ~2 years. Out of _3_, I have none that are still working, and the problem seems typical (https://www.amazon.com/Razer-BlackWidow-Tournament-Stealth-Mechanical/product-reviews/B00IZXXF92/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_hist_1?ie=UTF8&filterByStar=one_star&reviewerType=all_reviews#reviews-filter-bar …). Since they are Razer-only switches, where do I go now?
I am in the same boat. I read the ratings on switches, and I can cognitively appreciate that a robot tested the actuation force or something, but when I _type_ on Cherry MX switches, they are all just too stiff. They feel stiffer than "less actuation force" switches by others.

Have you tried Topre? The switches are expensive, but I really like their feel. They have soft tactility. I'm using the HHKB Pro2 Type S. But they have other boards like the realforce and Leopold fc660c which uses Topre switches.

Jeff and
@won3d I think had Topre keyboards, I didn't really like them. I definitely liked the Razer Orange switches better. But I'm not sure _which_ Topre keyboards they were, it might be that there are different kinds that I would like better? - Show replies
