@Jonathan_Blow any recommendations for a laptop for development and some gaming? I'm trying to avoid shelling out for a l33t g4mer laptop if I don't have to.
I believe the problem with 100% of the laptops in that kind of lineage is the offset keyboard and trackpad, which leads to very bad work posture if you do a lot of work on the laptop. They don't offer any centered options, AFAIR...

I think things are even worse. I don't use the trackpad at all (I always carry a mouse), so I don't care about that. I just want a laptop that doesn't thermal throttle in a couple of minutes with significant usage and that's also impossible to find.
