I get so depressed about the quality of modern software. Eg., @youtube's video uploader has a bug where clicking on the "playlists" box occasionally just hangs the playlist UI forever.
This bug has been in the software for _five years_. They are obviously not even trying.

This tends to be the case across all Google products. Google drive, for example, requires me to drag-and-drop external files onto it _twice_ to be able to upload. The first drag often fails, even though the UI pops up saying to drop the file. Again, _years_ with this bug.

And of course the awesome thing that happened today was that I hit the playlist bug, so I couldn't set the playlist for the
@handmade_hero video. So I have to go to "Creator Studio" and set it there, post-upload. But they are now beta testing the "new" YouTube Studio...Show this thread -
... and it _doesn't have_ the playlist dropdown anymore! So I have to _revert_ to "Creator Studio Classic" or whatnot, using a little icon in the bottom left corner of the screen, _and then_ fix the playlists. I just don't even.

It's an obsession with features. All the media and buzz always surrounds features, and I'd guess this permeates the product management culture for Google and other mass-market software makers. We hate broken software, but all we ever ask for as consumers is more shit.
