@cmuratori I was under the impression that you only used a large preallocated memory for almost everything in handmade hero. So, I bought the code to see how that works but it seems like every call to PushStruct is a VirtualAlloc call. Is that right?
There are two modes, and I showed how to do both. Neither work that way. One way is preallocated, and we used that exclusively up until I showed how to do allocate-on-demand. The other way is allocate-on-demand, and it only calls VirtualAlloc when it runs out of space.

For the single VirtualAlloc version, you can look at any day up to day 341. Those were all prior to allowing any grow-on-demand. Post 341, you can use arenas either way (preallocated, or grow-on-demand, your choice).
