We now know that OpenGL is discontinued on MacOS X. What is the official status of OpenGL for iOS? I assume it is also discontinued, but I don't remember hearing anything about that specifically... I feel like a lot of iOS things rely on OpenGL at the moment, so... ?
I'm also not sure why anyone would assume Vulkan won't also go away on Windows. What's the incentive to keep it around now? It's just extra work for driver teams. It seems like Vulkan/OpenGL are really only relevant on Linux, AFAICT.
