We now know that OpenGL is discontinued on MacOS X. What is the official status of OpenGL for iOS? I assume it is also discontinued, but I don't remember hearing anything about that specifically... I feel like a lot of iOS things rely on OpenGL at the moment, so... ?

Is there a reason you’d rather not use MoltenVK to compile Vulkan to Metal and use Vulkan for all platforms?

Hopefully the reason is obvious? Why would you want to add _another_ layer of complexity into your platform performance and testing process? Now, in addition to debugging Metal bugs, you have to debug Vulkan->Metal translation layer bugs (and performance issues).
