When I tweet that I need buttons on a trackpad, why do people reply that I don't? Do you really think that a computing professional with thirty years of experience somehow isn't able to reach an accurate conclusion about whether the programs he uses work well without buttons?

I still use a t530 which was the last usable one I guess. But I'm weird and use hardware until it disintegrates.

I would actually love to use a thinkpad, used an x1 carbon for 6 years and it's still running, but it's sad that now I'd pay close to 2k for something with a U could and a 2gb mobile gpu

Personally, won't get another numpad / offcentered laptop if I can avoid it, wrists are already quite messed up. That's why rumors of a numpad-less 15 inch thinkpad are interesting
