When I tweet that I need buttons on a trackpad, why do people reply that I don't? Do you really think that a computing professional with thirty years of experience somehow isn't able to reach an accurate conclusion about whether the programs he uses work well without buttons?
I use to find it pretty easy to use 3D programs with the T41 trackpad (3 buttons, all physicals, quite nice!) Mice are always nice, to be sure, but a good trackpad can totally work in a lot of cases if it has physical buttons.
