    Emma Gast was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma, a type of cancer. The care team at UMC Children’s Hospital gave Emma a sense of normalcy during her stay. Today, Emma is back at school and pursuing her passion for cheerleading.

    Eity's kidneys did not fully develop in the womb. She had to stary dialysis right after she was born. When she was 6 she had a kidney transplant at . Now she's 11 thriving with her new kidney. And she hasn't had any other surgeries since her transplant!
