SPD has ~ $170M left for 2020.
SPD spends ~ $34M/month, FAR MORE than human services, libraries, the fire dept, housing, immigrant services, labor standards, civil rights.

Sound Transit is spending $250 million a month this year on trains to make commutes for large employers' employees faster and more convenient. Defund it.

Easy solution is amend the bill to take effect on Jan 1, so they'll be open all year at current funding.
YOU and ALL the other CM should be required to not only attend 40 hours of scenario based trainings that SPD attends, but also spend a week riding along in varying shifts in all neighborhoods.
