I think one of the reasons for alliances with countries with dictatorship is wealth. We wouldn't be allies with KSA if it was a democracy.

I raised my children my children to be like me & now I have to worry about some insane person destroying our country,

hurting our friends & neighbors. I have grandchildren that are pale as can be & grandchildren that are much darker complicated.

I have a grandchild who is bisexual & they all get picked on for different reasons. This wasn't quite so prevalent a bit ago.
