Following our internal review of the incident in Central Park yesterday, we have made the decision to terminate the employee involved, effective immediately. We do not tolerate racism of any kind at Franklin Templeton.

I think getting fired is enough.

This isn't about punishing her or the company. It's about ensuring that any harm she may have inflicted against colleagues while at the company is held accountable. If there's nothing, great, but they should do their due diligence and evaluate the company's culture and her record

Rightful termination. Not only was she racist, which should NEVER be tolerated, she abused her dog which is now not hers, misused 911 and lied to dispatchers. The company was right to fire her even if it was to save face. If they didn't, they would've tanked.
