It appears that that this one victim was not important enough for the perpetrator to receive a jail sentence. How many would it take? Two? Ten? A whole bus full? I wonder whether the rapist will still be allowed to drive school busses full of kids.

About forty years ago, I was that child, though only 8 or so then. I’m stymied right now. I guess speaking out louder at the time wouldn’t have made any difference.
