Meanwhile, Bran is literally omniscient, practically a demi-god, and everyone's like: "Yeah, that works."

When she was in the library, I kept saying, "She has stealth 100. She's going to be okay." Who better to kill the fucking Night King than a servant of the God of Death and, arguably, the greatest assassin on Westeros? That's not a Mary Sue, it's completing her character arc.
-
Afterwards, people we on Twitter like "how did she sneak up on the Night King?" They literally showed you 20 minutes ago.
-
“How did you sneak up on me?!” — Jon Snow, in the Godswood, standing pretty much on the exact spot where she dispatched the Night King.
-
“How did she get a drop on the Knight King?” Ahem:pic.twitter.com/1XINpxFtD3

people are calling her a mary sue? did they somehow miss every single scene after ned's execution?
-
And also before his execution, when she was already good at archery and then Ned got her a sword fighting instructor?
-
Every dudebro loved the unpredictable storytelling, until a woman had the nerve to kill the villain instead of the more obvious male hero.
-
The obvious male hero, who didn’t do much, in comparison...
-
And the obvious dragons who were actually totally useless.

Glad Dany dragged the Dothraki half way across the world for nothing.

Glad Dany dragged the Dothraki half way across the world (through a transportation means that terrified them) to die for nothing. Like what did sending them accomplish that flaming arrows wouldn't have. She might as well have slaughtered them herself.

She was literally the most qualified person to kill him and has been training to go unnoticed for seasons. It's sad, and even sadder when you consider maybe they wouldn't have blinked an eye if Jon had made it in time.
-
Plus! I love Jon but he basically always runs in to be the reckless hero and basically never manages to do it.
-
Nothing more Stark than attempting to do the right thing in the clumsiest, most poorly-planned way possible.
-
Yep, Jon's complete lack of subtlety and guile nearly got everyone killed. Night King didn't raise the dead until Jon can tromping along after him.
-
YUP! just thought about that. He really was just gonna walk past everyone until someone tried him like Jon.
