Perhaps he could tell us what the thief on the cross did to get saved?

Amen! Sadly this doctrine is spreading all throughout the Church. It’s pure heresy! I’ve bean beating the dead horse on this topic, because if you’ve noticed there are many on here that also believe and preach this.
-
Yet, I don’t continue to talk about this to debate with those who have chosen to believe in this doctrine, but to reveal to others that salvation is solely by Jesus Christ and everything that He has done. We will do works, but not to earn our salvation.

#Repent. "Pursue peace with all [people], and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the#grace of God... lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright."—Heb 12, NKJVpic.twitter.com/GaEYnPPGhn

There are many wolves in the churches today, bringing damnable heresies with them into the Church. Anyone who adds anything to simple faith in Jesus Christ is teaching a false Gospel. With the abundance of corrupt Bibles like the NKJV we find corrupt doctrines being taught often.
-
I agree, and although I believe in the KJV Bible I’ve seen some damnable heresies being used with the KJV Bible. The power is the Word brother, but if placed in the wrong hands the Word can hurt and I’ve witnessed it personally with the KJV Bible.

I was in the United Pentecostal Church for nearly a year after I came to the Lord. They believe in the KJV Bible and teach many heresies.

We must not allow the flawed teachings of man to cloud our judgment of the preserved King James Bible. Not everyone who teaches the KJV is leading people to the truth on God's Word. Just look at Arnold Murray and the Shepherd's Chapel for a good example of what I'm talking about.
-
And just what judgement would you bring against brother Murray?
