I saw that and assumed it was a headline the editor was using to draw in all the cycle haters who would start reading with glee and then slowly realise that the bigger problem is drivers. It might be a charitable interpretation

More to the point, why is it now a ' special operation' to enforce traffic laws. I remember when we had more traffic police that this was juat business as usual.

That’s really poor journalism. A chance to raise awareness of how to share road space and improve safety for people on the roads missed.

yup. And especially sad that it's in a town like Stirling which could easily achieve 50%+ journeys by bike if they invested in the proper infrastructure
