The other malls in the area had them, too, but for some reason I remember these locations the best. Not really sure why I’m having such nostalgia for mall bookstores.

We got some Barnes and Nobles in the late 90s, both of which are still there. A Borders, too. I think the mall bookstores closed in the early 2000s, but I don’t remember.

I mean, I have a lot of nostalgia for malls in general. I grew up in them. I think there was something homey about the mall bookstores because they were small.

Also there was a bookstore in the big mall in town that I can never remember the name of. It was like a little fancier and also more expensive. We would go in it, of course, but rarely buy anything.
