    My postdoc experience has been better than I could ever have imagined, thanks to my amazing PI , the Lavis Lab team, and many others. I've been incredibly lucky to be surrounded by not only great scientists, but fantastic mentors, colleagues and friends.

    We’ve been playing around with eFRET GEVIs and figured out how to flip the signal. We made the first bright, positive-going GEVI with sub-millisecond response kinetics. Check out the preprint and let us know what you think:
