The House just passed legislation to make lynching a federal crime. 410 lawmakers voted for it and 4 voted against it.
Independent Justin Amash voted against the bill along with three Republicans: Thomas Massie, Ted Yoho, and Louie Gohmert.

“Overreach”? Let the States handle this, so there could be some lynching existIng legally somewhere? So States should have the right to lynch?
