With all this talk about Mastodon, I am curious to try it out. I like the idea of being able to self-host an instance. I have a server in the basement anyways that can be used for it. Any experience with doing so? The potential need for hosting email makes me a bit reluctant...

I really like the terminology "personal software" and hence "personal programming/programmer". Much better than "end-user programming" or Mary Shaw's "vernacular software developer" which nobody will ever self-identify as. I hope to see "personal software" etc gain traction.

OneTrust, a premier provider of consent pop-ups has filed a patent to detect if consent is manual or by a tool. Basically, to prevent tools such as our Consent-O-Matic in helping people automate menial tasks and in protecting them from dark patterns. Their mothers must be proud.

Nogen tror - fejlagtigt - at man skal kunne programmere eller kode for at søge ind på en IT-uddannelse. Det er ikke nødvendigt, for vi lærer dig det helt fra bunden. Sidste år havde over halvdelen af vores nye studerende lidt/ingen erfaring med programmering. Husk der frist 5/7!

En IT-uddannelse kræver ikke programmeringserfaring på forhånd. Over 50% af nye studerende har lidt/ingen erfaring. Vi danner hold efter niveau og giver ekstra undervisning til dem med mindst erfaring, så de kommer på niveau med de erfarne på ét semester. lnkd.in/eEqg329S
