Finished my revisions. Shredded the paper manuscript. Put in the compost. Compost will go on apple tree. Will make pie with the apples. Next year will literally eat my words.

Don't hold back because a) you had some help last year or b) you don't fit the profile of "author" as in "has books in bookshops":- translators, scriptwriters, poets, all qualify. And the turn applications round really quickly, so help could be on its way.

A really positive, encouraging article about architects re-shaping the way people think about building projects.

‘Night Rainbow’ by my friend . Pea is a character you won’t forget and perfect escapism from lockdown. So many great female writers though.

Any other parents miss the memo that we’re supposed to be collecting/ordering lateral flow tests for ourselves and doing them twice a week too?

Today, 12 children & young people will hear the news they have cancer. Just over 2 years ago that was my son. That’s why I've donated an item to the Good Books auction. There are lots of great bookish treats to enjoy! Visit to place your bid.

Given a book about the origin of phrases. I am not loving the author’s attitude.
