    Soros selling short $10 billion of the British Pound in 1992 is regarded as one of the greates trades of the decade. The greatest macro trade of the 2020s could be a multi-billion dollar bitcoin trade. Macro fund managers would have to pull the trigger soon.

    If you're starting a meditation company right now, you're probably too late. Calm was started in 2012. When explained the concept to me back then I thought he was crazy. Build companies that make people think you're crazy in 2020. We don't need more meditation apps.

    I agree B will happen then A. The question is how much will it drop and how long it will take to recover to current price levels.

    Unanswered debate re: is whether A- it rises due to safe-haven status as solvency crisis compound in developed economies or B- it will drop b/c it's a liquidable position of investor's venture portfolios. Could do both (B than A). We'll likely have an answer soon enough.

    The #1 cause of startup death is making something no one wants. The #2 cause is spending too much. Those two account for so many deaths that I'm not even sure what #3 is. If you merely make something people want and don't spend too much, you're way ahead.

    If I could only own one asset for the next 10 years, it would be bitcoin It encapsulates all of my larger macro views and feels like the point on the far horizon we are headed to, in some shape or form. Yes, like gold too and many other things but BTC risk/reward beats all.
