Been using this for a few weeks and it's amazing! Each vendor gets their own virtual card with custom limits.

    1. Give a card a name and spending limit. 2. Immediately get your virtual card number. 3. Control where your notifications go. Never worry about a service provider over-billing you. Once you cancel a service, just cancel the card. ✅

i've recently become obsessed with all the insane corporate ways we say normal things to each other. "I’m a little confused" is by far my favorite - it's absolute rage masked as a professional pleasantry. what are some of your best/most insufferable work gibberish phrases?

Unexpectedly cool use of 's virtual corporate cards: easy meetup sponsorships. When is sponsoring a new meetup, I just generate a new card for the organizer with an all-time limit and give it to them to buy pizza and such. 🔥🎉

Mint has turned into an endless login-fixing to do list. Patiently waiting for and for banks to make more of their data consistently available to apps that consumers authorize.

“He or she” is only ever said by men who fully intended on just saying “he” and at the very last second, remember that “she” exists. 😂

Maybe, just maybe, this software will get people to look at their OKRs more than once at the beginning of the quarter and once at the end.

I’d donate a lot more to my alma mater if they got rid of legacy admissions.

I just explained my stack rank for checking Slack in the morning to someone who never used Slack before: 1) direct messages 2) starred channels with direct notifications 3) threads 4) unstarred channels with direct notifications 5) starred channel history Them: 😳

First 3 things to focus on as a new manager: 1. Trust – Building trust should be #1 focus. Trust is NOT likability. Trust = Vulnerability, explaining intentions, following through on commitments. It's saying to your team: "I'll need your help," and not making empty promises...

My favorite part of VC twitter is when investors subtweet their own portfolio companies.

If you're building and selling software, it's much better to sell your product to your true user. Otherwise, you're incentivized to build a product that you can sell, but customers hate using.

Most HR software is truly horrendous to use. It's often marred by the fact that the buyer is HR/Finance and the actual users are Hiring Managers and Employees. The former cares about cost/setup time/administration and the latter cares about actually using a good product.

I realize everyone's twitter feed looks different. But I'll go ahead and subtweet two conversations that I see going by right now: a) How the heck did Shopify get so big this decade and b) You have to work 80 hours a week to be successful. Thread/

Also, a good read about reaching one’s inevitable decline in abilities, which has nothing to do with something as silly as the number of hours worked:

After reaching what I thought professional/financial success was growing up, there’s definitely a moment when I stepped back and thought, “Well, what the hell do I do now?”
