No, he turned away a couple looking for a cake for a wedding. He denied a service that he provides to everybody else in the public to which he's open & claimed his "belief" allows him to not treat gay people as equal. THAT. IS. DISCRIMINATION.

He can do whatever he wants in his personal life at home or at church, and he could hold those believes… Those positions cannot change into action towards people in a discriminatory manner when he is open for business in public.

Also, "he did business with gay people all the time? "How does that excuse him refusing to bake a cake that a gay couple will use for a wedding? Selling products for gay couples still supports them no matter if it's a cake or the base for a cake.

He runs a bakery. If anything, that makes his argument even weaker by showing how disingenuous he is in his proselytizing against a gay couple asking for a cake... Unless he was just completely naïve and thought none of his other items would ever be used for a gay wedding.
