Shameful: @SenateGOP advanced 9th Circuit nominee Kenneth Lee, who hid dozens of his offensive articles criticizing everything from equal opportunity policies to voting rights. Now, @senatemajldr's rushing his confirmation over the objections of @SenKamalaHarris & @SenFeinstein.pic.twitter.com/AtKOln1tDw

We need to pack the house and senate and change the laws. Then remove judges who don’t do the right thing. We are allowed to vote a confidence vote for all judges in Iowa including our SC. Maybe adopt that model for federal judges.

Going back to AG Gonzalez, the GOP has been politicizing and undermining what used to bipartisan elements of the Justice Dept. McConnell is just taking it to new low. "https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-gonzales-idUSN1714926720070820 …

“Gonzales has shattered the Justice Department’s tradition of independence and has politicized its operations more than any other attorney general since the Watergate era,” said Metcalfe, who began working at the agency in 1971.
