I'm very good at setting up and running a polling place. But it still takes me way too long to close at the end of the night. I wish my jurisdiction would provide more tips/tricks/best practices to help this go faster.

Having specific task lists that workers can do in tandem with each other is helpful--hand them out and they're off & running. Can even have spot for names/sig of who does what if there are questions later. Spots for 2 if bipartisan team needed, etc.

In a project observing poll workers we saw that opening is much more optimized than closing at the end of the night. Ideas and inspirations at https://civicdesign.org/projects/pollworkers-security/ …
